Statutory Filing

The State Conservation Board established minimum standards to certify districts' eligibility to receive state grant funds. These minimum standards are required by the Colorado Soil Conservation Act and must be completed in or for the current calendar year.

These requirements include:

  • Long Range Plans (3-year filings)
  • Budget documents (annually)
  • Annual Report (annually)
  • Exemption from Audit application (annually)
  • District Elections (odd numbered years)
  • (Board) Supervisor List (annually)
  • Workmen's Compensation Exemption (annually)

Most of our statutory documentation is filed with Colorado Department of Local Affairs (DOLA) and are publicly viewable on the Local Government Information System (LGIS) website at https://dola.colorado.gov/dlg_lgis_ui_pu/
